Vastalux Energy Berhad (VEB) was established in 1995 and started its business operation in 1998 as a small subcontractor with only 3 staff strength, dealing mainly in supply of offshore manpower, equipment and materials and minor fabrication work. Since then we are blessed to have grown into a full scale main contractor licensed by Petronas, the National Oil Company of Malaysia and have been directly involved in diverse areas of the oil and gas industry.

In June 2003, VEB was awarded the Angsi Development Project Phase lll Hook-up and commissioning by Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd which involved primary in the exploration and production of oil gas in Malaysia and other parts of the world. The project which is the first for VSB as a main contractor has been fully implemented and executed within the constraints of project deliverables and deadlines

Our commitment to quality was further illustrated through our certification to the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Standard in June 2007, In respect of safety and the environment (HSE), VEB is also proud of its HSE credentials and count it as one of its core values and objectives.

While ten (10) years of experience may not seem long, its is substantial considering that the Malaysian oil and gas industry was only started by the government in 1975. And through the years, VEB has worked hard to meet the demanding needs of Petronas and its subsidiary companies, the other Production Sharing contractors namely Murphy Sarawak Oil Co Ltd and Carigali Hess Operating Company Sdn Bhd to name a few.
