The Board of Directors of Vastalux Energy Berhad ("Company") is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Vastalux Sdn Bhd ("VSB") has received from PDB a Letter of Award dated 10 October 2008 for the Procurement, Construction and Commissioning "PCC" of Re-activation of Pasir Gudang LPG Filling Plant, Johor ("Letter of Award") amounting to RM32.5 million. The said Letter of Award was accepted by VSB on 16 October 2008. Under the requirements of the Letter of Award, VSB shall perform detail engineering design, plans submissions and approval, materials and equipments procurements, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of the plant reactivation works ("Works"). The Works are expected to commence on 17 October 2008 and complete on 3 September 2009 for duration of 46 weeks. The acceptance of the Letter of Award will have no effect on the issued and paid-up capital of the Company and is expected to contribute positively to the current financial year ending 31 December 2008 and the subsequent financial periods within the duration of the Contract. |

The Board of Directors of Vastalux Energy Berhad ("Company") is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Vastalux Sdn Bhd ("VSB") has received from Lynas a Letter of Acceptance dated 19 September 2008 for the Lynas Advanced Materials Project - TNB Substation and Site Administration RC Slab and External works ("Letter of Acceptance") amounting to RM2.1 million. The project is for development of the Advanced Material Plant by Lynas Malaysia Sdn Bhd for the production of high purity Lanthanides concentrate. Under the requirements of the Letter of Acceptance, VSB shall be performing concrete works for TNB Substation and Site Administration Building. In addition to the above scope of work, VSB shall also be performing mechanical and electrical works for TNB Substation and embedded/underslab sanitary and plumbing services for Site Administration Building which to be included as variation order. The Works are expected to commence on 25 September 2008 and complete on 24 November 2008 for duration of 2 months. |

It is with great pleasure that the management would like to announce that Vastalux Sdn Bhd had secure Civil Works Package 3 for the Melaka Refinery PSR-2 Revamp Project valued at RM11 Million. The duration of the project will be 9 month. The client for the project is Malaysian Refining Company Sdn Bhd. |

The management would like to announce that it has completed the acquisition of Labuan fabrication yard land for RM9 Million. In-line with Vastalux goal to be a the preferred construction engineering company in the region, the acquisition exercise will expand Vastalux's current services and asset value.
